Kick-off times, and why they work in America's favour
A Saturday night fixture at nine o'clock local time is normal here, and Sunday matches can finish close to midnight in Madrid. From Britain that is an hour earlier and perfectly manageable. From the United States it is better than manageable: the day's biggest match lands mid-afternoon on the east coast and around lunchtime on the west.
